Very well done depiction of extreme introspection. Piercing insights into the mind of not only some white women, but also a lot of white, so called men. The point of view depicted in this story is entirely white, the Black man involved is little more than a prop, and yet, this was produced by a Black author. D.Brown has a gift of unravelling the white psyche and displaying it's assured undoing in the face of the Black man, even without any explicit prompting on the part of the later.
