The Avengers – The White Serpent Saga
(DarkWanderer Edition)
Preface
So, some explanations are in order before you venture on in reading this little ongoing fanfic of mine. I should start by explaining that this is the ‘DarkWanderer Edition’ of this fanfic, meaning it will be decidedly more graphic in it’s description of events and happenings; be it in terms of violence related to action scenes, or in the descriptiveness of sexual encounters. Over at DeviantArt where I’m also posting this story, it is much tamer, so as to not scare off the more timid readers there. Still, I will not be so overt in my devotion to the Black New World Order in this story as it goes on, rather there will be hints and elements of it hidden throughout.

Regarding an explanation for the story itself, I should say that I am a big fan of Superheroes, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and have wanted to write my own ongoing fanfic set within an alternate version of said universe for quite some time. The story is told from the perspective of Shannon Carter, AKA The American Dream, who is a female version of Captain America from some pretty obscure comics. I’ve chosen Shannon as my main protagonist, because of another obsession of mine, specifically the actress Kristen Stewart.

A few years ago, it was rumored that Kristen would be cast in the MCU for some role, though it didn’t happen. Then, again in 2019 as part of the press tour for the film Seberg, Kristen and her co-star of that film, Anthony Mackie, were asked by a reporter about the prospects of them reuniting in the MCU, given Mackie’s role as Falcon. Mackie didn’t hold back at all in his support of her being a part of the MCU, going so far as to even suggest that Kristen should portray a female Captain America. I, and a lot of other K-Stew fanboys lost our minds over this, and when some artists made a few renderings of what Kristen Stewart as Captain America might look like, my K-Stew in the MCU obsession was born.

Fast-forward a few years, and after wanting to write a fanfic for so long, I’ve finally decided to do it, and this is that fanfic. So, if you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or just a fan of erotic fiction being told alongside traditional fiction, then maybe give this thing a chance, and see if you like it. If not, that’s cool, I welcome criticism and feedback of all kinds. I can promise you, that since this is the aforementioned ‘Dark Wanderer Edition’ of my fanfic, there will be plenty of interracial sex to read and enjoy, if that more your particular cup of tea. Parts in which contain such interracial sex, will be denoted as such at the beginning, so that if you want to skip the others you can with ease.

Anyways, thanks, and I hope you enjoy!

“She’s after me!”

Running at a full-on sprint, his rifle in hand, and a look of sheer panic evident in his face, Bryson cast a worrisome glance back over his shoulder as though he were expecting to see someone trailing after. Instead, there was no one. Turning round once more, he quickly pivoted on heel and veered down an alleyway nestled between two apartment buildings. Breathing hard and fast, his heart pumping a mile a minute, he burst back unto the main street in broad daylight among a large meandering crowd of civilians. Almost immediately a clamor of concern erupted from them as they gauged his bearing, and the menacing weapon he held in both hands. It was obvious to them, he was no friend, and accordingly they began to afford him an ever-increasing measure of space. For him, the awareness that he’d terrified these people came to mind, but settled at the back of his conscious thought, given his own lingering sense of terror regarding a pursuer.

“I think...” panting heavily, he placed a gloved hand to his ear in order to speak into an obscured comm device. “...maybe I lost the bitch!” With an angered glance at the panicked bystanders, he stepped forward, hands instinctively checking the status of his assault weapon. “We need to step shit up, now!” He quickly added, pushing on through the crowd.

“Before we’re stopped.” he barked, seemingly in response to whoever was on the other end of his comms.

“Get the fuck out of my way!” he soon hollered at a passing ******, their skin ivory in color, yet he raised his weapon in order to aim in the direction of someone decidedly darker in skin tone. “I said move!” he shouted, raising the level of the weapon just a bit more before firing a round harmlessly into the sky as a warning. Immediately he was met with screams of panic as the ****** began to disperse, trying to get clear of him, however as he started at a trot toward his intended target it became clear a few others had effectively been frozen in place by what was happening. Annoyed, and at a loss for any additional leniency with regard to these people, he lowered his weapon and took a bead at the couple inadvertently standing in his way; a young wife clawing at her husband in an effort to elicit his moving, but he stood firm, too afraid to move an inch.

“I... warned... you!” he said in monotone sequence, finger finding the trigger, his intent to shoot through them, and then at the pair of young black children beyond.

THWANG!

The odd sound reverberated in Bryson’s head as he reeled from where he’d been knocked over, a searing anguish running up the length of his right arm, and he knew just from the feel that the bones from his elbow down had been utterly and totally shattered to pieces. Climbing to his feet from a kneel, he groaned aloud, glancing for his rifle, only to spot it a few feet away in a state of absolute disrepair; it having absorbed the brunt of whatever had hit him. The couple he’d sought to shoot through, were still there, yet they were annoyingly alive still, as were the two black children just beyond. With a grunt, he stumbled forward, his right arm limp at his side as the left fumbled to retrieve his sidearm from the holster at his hip; he drew it, raised it at the level once more as he sought to open fire a second time.

“I don’t think so!” exclaimed a triumphantly heroic voice from behind him as it drew nearer with an alacrity, and before Bryson could even turn to see, a fist found him square in the side of his scruff-lined face, staggering him as he felt his jaw crack. He’d had half a mind to try and shoot his attacker, but again, before he could, she’d followed on by grabbing and wrenching his left forearm in such an awkward manner that it snapped at the midway, sending a pang of deep pain into him, and causing the pistol to drop with a clatter to the pavement. Grunting as he again dropped to a knee, he tried to look his assailant in her face, but before his eyes could properly focus, another harrowing fist found the left side of his temple and sent him sprawling to the ground in a heap. Unconsciousness quickly followed as he lost all sense of anything.

It’d be hours before he was conscious again, and by then, he’d be in custody.

Standing tall over her prey, casting a shadow across an unconscious man with a supremely confident expression evident in her face, a soft breeze catching the periphery of her golden blonde asymmetrical mane, Shannon Carter nodded with reassurance to the panicked couple that they were safe now.

“He’s down.” She spat unto the unconscious terrorist’s face before she spoke into a headset mic that ran along her sharp jawline. Striding over to where her red and silver vibranium shield had landed after striking its intended target. It was smaller than the one wielded by the Cap, though it was still a fearsome tool to wield, and an effective weapon at her side.

“Where are we at?” she asked, slipping an arm through the backside loop of the shield, and turning back in the direction she’d just run from. All around her, some bystanders were starting to take pictures with their phones, others applauded their apparent savior, and yet others were comforting their loved ones now that the imminent danger had passed. Even a year on as a member of the Avengers, she’d yet to really get used to all of the attention paid her by them, but at the same time, she more than understood it. After all, she’d grown up idolizing Steve Rogers, and how he had fought so valiantly in defense of those who couldn’t defend themselves. It had inspired her to follow in his path, enlisting with the US Army in 2008 as a Combat Medic; she imagined her presence now would possibly lead some of them into seeking the means to similarly help others.

“That’s five of the twenty we’re looking for, accounted for.” Answered Kate Bishop over the headset.

Hawkeye sounded quite frustrated by the situation that she and everyone else on the team were mired within, and Shannon understood that all too well. It’d been a little over a month since ‘The White Serpent’, a white supremacist terror organization aimed at destroying the word and spreading a message of hate, had announced itself in bloody fashion. They’d staged a terror attack in downtown Berlin, slaughtering almost a hundred before authorities could intervene, and since, whatever progress that had made in countering the group had been minimal at best. In fact, today had represented the first real positive result that the team had amassed. They’d acted upon a freak bit of intelligence that Kamala Khan had intercepted and decrypted. To say Shannon was beyond impressed by the ingenuity of the latest addition to the Avengers, Ms. Marvel, would’ve been an understatement. The girl had proven herself to be absolutely invaluable in her ability to both gather and discern useful information, but she could also kick some righteous ass if necessary.

“This one got off a message, which means the others are going to move their plans ahead. We need to find them fast.” Shannon replied, once more stepping over the unconscious man, purposefully and deliberately letting the tip of her boot snag against his ribcage in the process. It was far less painful than he deserved.

Oh how she despised racists like this one.

“Amie said she thinks the others are probably clustered together. Somewhere really popular where they can do the most damage.” Kamala explained. Back at base, she likely had a few onlooking Avengers from the other teams giving her advice on how to proceed, and in this case at least for sure America Chavez.

“These jerks were probably supposed to run interference. Y’know, keep responders busy.” added Gwen Stacy over the comm channel. Shannon wondered where in the vicinity of the city, the girl known as Spider-Gwen was currently situated, as she too had been a part of the ground team on this particular mission.

With a frustrated sigh, Shannon glanced around her surroundings, beyond the onlookers, and watched as French Police began to arrive on the scene, finally. They ran over to the downed terrorist and began slapping handcuffs around his wrists in order to restrain him. Late as usual, Shannon thought, not really affording them another ounce of consideration as she narrowed her eyes in the direction of the Eiffel Tower. “Well... it’s Paris, so pick your poison.” There were a plethora of popular tourist attractions in this city of cities. More than Shannon could even imagine her and the rest of the team being able to effectively patrol before whatever planned attack unfolded in earnest. They needed to make a best guess, unless someone had some sort of intuition on the matter. “I can wake this piece of shit up and ask him?” she glanced at the unconscious terrorist again, her fist curling in anticipation of thrashing him about in order to maybe shake a hint free from his battered brain.

“No. They work in separate cells, disconnected from one another, remember? He won’t know anything.” Answered Captain Marvel in a commanding tone, and instantly Shannon loosened her fist, knowing better than to question her team leader. If there was anyone Shannon explicitly felt confident in following, it was Carol, though that was in part due to how quickly they had become friends.

“The Louvre!” erupted Kamala over the comms.

“The, what?” countered Kate.

“It’s an art museum.” answered Gwen.

“You sure?” asked Carol.

“Yes! I just picked up an unregistered call-in about security routines. Something about unscheduled armed personnel entering the museum. It has to be them!” she explained, and without any sort of hesitation, Shannon spun round on heel and darted off in the direction of the museum in question, delicately slipping in between the amassed crowds thanks to her lithe figure.

“How do I get there, Kammy?” asked Kate.

“I’m sending you the coordinates now!” Kamala said.

“Just follow my light!” announced Carol, and an instant later a plume of brilliant swirling light lit up the sky in the exact direction that Shannon had already started after. Above her, she saw the streak of fiery energy blaze on ahead, filling Shannon with a sense of hope and relief that maybe they would get the drop now. At least, so long as Kammy was proven correct yet again. In truth though, it wasn’t even a question for Shannon as she sprinted on, doing her best not to topple or collide with anyone on her way, lungs pumping hard and fast as she rounded a corner and saw the signature crystal pyramid of the Louvre courtyard just a few hundred meters or so away. Already, the streak of brilliance that was her friend, Captain Marvel, had descended upon the structure, and from what she could see, Carol was at work trying to get people to clear the area.

“Sniper! In the windows!” cried Shannon as she saw the telltale twinkle of a rifle optic from one wing of the museum.

A millisecond later, an arrow zipped across the sky from somewhere and struck the sniper in his shoulder, causing his aim to go astray, and the bullet he’d just fired to miss its intended target, striking just beside a young black woman trying to get away from the Museum. Shannon watched as the terrorist staggered, trying to retrain his rifle on another civilian so that he could kill them, but an instant later a semi-translucent filament streaked across from another direction and upon impacting with him, it exploded into a full-on web which entangled him and his weapon. Another instant later, Carol burst from where she’d been stood and flew into the opened window with swirling energy enveloping her body as she struck the sniper, disappearing with him into the museum as she tackled him into oblivion.

“Carol!” yelled Shannon, worried about her friend. From her left, Gwen swung in and landed at a running trot beside Shannon, and the two of them darted in the direction of the open double doors that led into the museum. They said no words to one another, yet both women knew exactly what the other was thinking.

Gunfire echoed from inside of the museum, and a sense of yet more worry welled up in Shannon’s stomach as she approached the pair of opened doors, doing her best not to bump any of the fleeing patrons trying to escape. Raising her shield up before her, Gwen continuing to run in stride, the two charged into the museum gallery together, and immediately saw a number of people ducking helplessly for cover. The time had come for the terrorists to unleash their attack in all its viciousness and standing shoulder to shoulder four of them began to aim their weapons at the panicked people littered all about. Yet they hadn’t considered the possibility that the Avengers would be there to stop them in their tracks so quickly. And as time slowed for both Shannon and Gwen the moment they went into action, the former rearing back to once again frisbee her shield, while the latter extended both arms forward and fired twin lines of webbing. All while simultaneously, the ambient sound of gunfire from the upper level seemed to elevate and then dwindle, as no doubt the most powerful Avenger made light work of the terrorists.

Shannon’s carried momentum had increased the power with which the shield had spun forward, it striking one of the armed men in the side of his head, then bounced and hit his partner standing to his right. The two both fell backward, their guns firing wildly, yet thankfully, harmlessly into the ceiling until they dropped to the floor.

Their skulls effectively cracked like the shell of a walnut.

Gwen on the other hand, who’d stuck the other two assailants with webbing, leapt over their heads and pulled with all her superhuman might so as to whiplash them upward. They flung through the air, their bodies turned upside down until they fell with a clamor to the ground, having landed awkwardly on their necks in front of Gwen.

A sickly crack echoing throughout the hall accordingly.

An instant later, the adjoining wall exploded as another man was kicked through the upper flooring down into the art gallery below, Carol slowly hovering down from the hole until she gracefully landed beside him, his jaw and nose dripping crimson, he laid silent among the other four incapacitated gunmen that Shannon and Gwen had dealt with.

“That makes twenty.” Carol explained, and both Gwen and Shannon knew that meant the rest who weren’t visible here, had likewise already been dealt with by Carol. Nodding to one another, Gwen and Shannon went about disarming the unconscious terrorists by breaking their guns down into parts, which they discarded. “I think we’re clear.” Carol added a minute later, casting both Gwen and Shannon an appreciative glance until in strode Kate from the double doors, an arrow knocked at her bow, and a look of relief in her face. “Good shot, Kate.” Carol remarked, similarly affording her an appreciative nod. The team had scored a victory and had worked flawlessly together to stop what could have and would have been an unspeakably horrible tragedy had they not. “Good work, all of you. I mean it. You too Kammy.” She said into her own comm-piece.

“It was Kammy’s intel that made all the different.” Commented Gwen.

“Yeah boy! We kicked your asses!” gloated Kate a second later, pointing mockingly at one of the unconscious men as a flood of armed French Police began to surge in through the opened doors behind her.

Smiling broadly, and giggling a little at Kate’s gloating, Carol patted both Shannon and Gwen on their shoulders before stepping between them, ready to leave the museum and Paris behind, aware that the fight to counter and defeat ‘The White Serpent’ was hardly achieved in totality just yet.

Both grinning confidently, Shannon and Gwen followed after their leader.

Kate jogging after a second later.

Stepping down the rear loading ramp of their quinjet, Shannon and Gwen walked side-by-side, the glee of having won a battle against their latest foe still fresh in their minds. Overhead, streaking across the sky was the still brilliantly illuminated Captain Marvel, though she quickly dropped down to land next to her teammates as they approached the gantry way that would lead them down into the base. It would likely be at least a few-hours until any interrogations conducted by agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. uncovered any useful information, if at all; again, the compartmentalization of ‘The White Serpent’ had proven to be quite difficult to contend with thus far. Still, they were making progress, as evidenced by todays resounding victory, in which no innocent lives had been lost.

“Any plans tonight?” asked Carol, casting a glance at both Gwen and Shannon.

“Miles is in Tokyo tonight, so nothing for me, other than Kardashians and a pint of Ben and Jerry’s.” Gwen answered first, explaining the whereabouts of Spider-man. She and Miles had been item since before they’d officially joined up with the Avengers, and ever since, they’d grown increasingly close, though duty often dictated their separation since they were assigned to different teams.

“...what about you, Miss Dream?” posed Carol.

“Oh her? She’s got a date over at the Garden with you-know-who!” Teased Gwen, sticking her tongue out at Shannon.

“I didn’t know Sam was back in town.” Carol interjected before Shannon could get a word in edgewise.

“He got back early this morning.” Shannon answered, a pleasant smirk hugging at the corner of her lips, belying the utter warmth she felt whenever thinking of the man previously known as ‘Falcon’ but now known as ‘Captain America’. It’d been little more than three months since he’d initially expressed an interest in Shannon, and quite quickly, they too had grown to be quite close.

“What’s at the Garden?” asked Carol as the trio arrived at an elevator and stepped inside.

“Sixers are playing the Knicks.” Kate interjected as she too descended the rear ramp of the quinjet and joined the others at the elevator.

“Oh? That sounds nice.” Carol said.

Blushing faintly, Shannon nodded as her grin broadened into a full-on smile. In truth, she was more than excited to be with Sam again, it having been almost a week since they’d last seen each other. “Yeah. It does.” She answered simply, a little glance shifting between herself and the others as Gwen seemed to find a focus of the button adorning the middle of Shannon’s chest, just left of center over her heart. Gwen had voiced her love of Shannon’s button collection a few times, though she’d at first struggled to understand why the one with a cartoon stylized interpretation of Sam had drifted so far away from where all the others were. Then, when she’d found out about how Shannon and he were seeing one another intimately, it suddenly made all the sense in the world, and she’d expressed just how cute she’d found the gesture to be.

“It’s a good thing your room is down at the end of the hall.” Teased Kate a moment later, as the elevator came to a stop and the four ladies stepped out.

“Why is that?” asked Carol.

Similarly confused, Shannon perked one eyebrow higher than the other.

“The sound-proofing in these walls is terrible.” Grinning broadly about her joke, Kate shot both index fingers teasingly at Shannon. “Know what I mean?!” she added, much to the chagrin of both Shannon and Carol who giggled loudly, their eyes rolling in reaction.

“Oh God, and I live in the domicile just next door!” complained Gwen teasingly.

“Gwen’s in for a holy choir tonight!” Teased Kate.

“What’s that?” asked Kammy as she stepped out from around a bend, glancing at the four women in confusion.

“Cause you know, Sam’s gonna make Shannon cry out for God!” Kate continued.

“Huh?” added Kammy.

“It’s nothing.” Answered Shannon bashfully.

“Oh it’s definitely not nothing!” Kate explained. “I mean, he’s hot girl! I’ve seen how tight his pants fit in exactly all the right places. You don’t have to dish, but we know.” Giggling, Kate kept a good two-to-three paces between herself and Shannon, aware of the danger posed by her friend as recompense for the lude teasing.

“Yeah, we definitely know.” Suddenly added Gwen in between fits of her own giggling.

“I don’t think I quite understand, what...” blinking innocently, Kammy stopped a second later as the four other women shot her a quizzical glance. Judging by how beet red she soon blushed, it did eventually dawn on her what Kate and Gwen were alluding to. “...oh, you mean his... oh!” she averted her gaze away from Shannon.

“This is really too much!” exclaimed Carol in between her own fits of laughter.

“Not too much for Shannon!” Gwen quickly quipped.

“Oh would you stop already!” Shannon cried, giggling, and pointing at Gwen and Kate in playful frustration.

“Seriously, you’re making Kammy uncomfortable.” Carol shot Shannon a wry wink.

“Alright! Alright! Fine!” Gwen giggled. “I need to give Miles a call anyway. I’ll catch you gals later.”

“Speaking of hot guys!” Kate added, giggling as she fell in behind Gwen, following after her friend toward her domicle.

Shaking her head, Shannon cast an apologetic glance at Kamala, still thoroughly impressed by how valuable the young girl had proven to be to the team thus far. Aside from being as intelligent as anyone Shannon had ever met, the girl was a fierce fighter, with power that rivaled most other members of the team, she’d just needed a little more time to hone them. In Carol, Shannon had detected a developing mentorship between the two ‘Marvels’ which filled her with a sense of happiness. The manner in which the various Avengers supported one another never ceased to amaze Shannon, and she couldn’t possibly have been prouder to be a part of the team.

They were a ******.

“Oh, and nice work!” Gwen added before she disappeared round a corner, pointing at the young Kamala specifically.

“Yep!” Kate added, disappearing in kind with Gwen.

“Seriously, good work.” Shannon re-iterated, sensing how radiant the young girl felt to have contributed.

“Thank you.” Kammy replied bashfully, her gaze spotting the ‘Allah’ button she’d gifted Shannon a little while ago when they’d first met. “Insha’Allah!” she said softly, beaming warmly that her friend had kept it among the others, just adjacent to another one with a red, black, white, and green Flag accompanied by the words ‘Free Palestine’ written underneath.

Glancing down at the myriad buttons that ran along the periphery of her right collar and torso, Shannon saw the two her Islamic friend specifically appreciated, and felt compelled to touch a slender finger against them. In truth, Shannon had always felt an appreciation of the Muslim faith, so to champion it in opposition of ever rising anti-Islamic fervor was an honor.

“Insha’Allah” replied Shannon with a warm smile evident on her face.

“Enjoy your night, Shannon.” Carol interrupted the brief reverie, casting another glance between both Kammy and Shannon before beckoning the younger Avenger to follow. “C’mon, Shannon’s got a hot date to get to.” She winked wryly at the American Dream, and Kammy fell in line beside her mentor.

“Have fun, Shannon!” exclaimed Kammy, looking back over her shoulder.

“Will do!” Shannon answered.

Pt.1b
New York City, USA
May 04, 2025

About two-hours later, Shannon had arrived via quinjet atop S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters in Manhattan, and after a short ride in a private car, she’d finally made it to Madison Square Garden. Thankfully, the driver, a kind young man named Josh, had known to take Shannon around and under the back entrance to the arena, where she could try and avoid being mobbed.

“It was lovely meeting you, Josh! Good luck with your wedding plans!”

Exiting the car, Shannon cast an appreciatively warm smile back at him and offered a gentle wave before striding toward the VIP entrance. During the short ride from S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, Josh had told Shannon of his recent engagement to a fellow support agent within the organization, his husband to be, named Alex. There was an excited giddiness to the man, making his British accent all the more endearing, and cuter. She’d made mental note to forward on an appropriate wedding gift to the pair, unable to avoid being overly generous to those who helped keep things in order for her and the rest of the Avengers. But also, because she knew it was simply the nice thing to do, after all, she’d more than appreciated hearing good news whenever she could, and in this case, a pending wedding between two loving and supportive people certainly qualified as good news.

“Right this way, Miss Carter.” A valet motioned for Shannon to follow him, having been given the head’s up that she was on her way to the game. It was still a little early, maybe a half-hour before the game tipped-off, but Shannon wanted to get to her box so that she could spend some time with Sam before it started.

Led on through some tunnels, then up a series of stairwells past some fans who glanced in her direction but not so quickly as to realize who she was, it was a few minutes later when she was presented to a door. Stepping through it, the valet closing it behind, Shannon cast a look around the modest confines of the private box, making note of a note of appreciate left on a counter from the arena staff, addressed to the Avengers in as a whole. The suite, big enough to host all of the Avengers, even Jen and Bruce at the same time and still leave enough for the rest of the team, had been gifted to them by the Arena after the battle of New York in 2012, with the explicit understanding that they were welcome for any and all events held there. Tonight though, it would play host to just Shannon and Sam, as they’d effectively reserved it for the evening.

Lavishly adorned, she spotted a nearby mini-bar situated on a uniquely shaped cart, with an already opened and foaming bottle of Dom Perignon sitting in a bucket of ice, with two beautiful flutes filled and bubbling. Somehow, someway, Sam had managed to beat her there, even though she’d left quite early.

“How was Paris?” asked a deep voice, causing Shannon to spin round and face it’s source.

With a flick of her head, she sent the asymmetrically stylized blonde locks that cascaded down the left side of her face flittering about. “Oh you know, sights and sounds. Saw the Mona Lisa.” Grinning warmly as he drew nearer, she clasped both hands behind the small of her back, finding the focus of his russet eyes and matching them with hers of veridian. In her chest, she could feel a fluttering of her heartbeat the moment she felt the warmth of his presence against the fore of her slenderly toned body. Unable to escape his gaze, she tilted the pate of her chin and stared up into his handsome face, loving every feature of smile as he grinned broadly to her. “There were baguettes too.” Sensing how he hovered over her, the space between them shrinking with each agonizing second of delay as he deliberately sought to intensify the anticipation she felt, Shannon was tempted to surrender to her desire.

“Oh?” his mono-syllabic response proved to be the last gambit she could possibly endure, proving his self-control superior in the moment. It had been too much for her; the rush of his hot breath ran against her pouty lips, the feeling of his athletically toned body so close to her own, and his strong masculine scent wafting heavily into her nostrils.

Pushing up off of her heels unto the balls of her feet, her hands unclasping from behind her back where she’d hoped to keep them from betraying her resolve, she grabbed unto his waist for support as she pressed her lips to his and drew him in for a passionate kiss. Eyelids fluttered closed for her first, then him as his arms enveloped her, finding a nestle just beneath the cusp of her slender behind, and she poured herself into him. Time seemed to slow, and any woes or concerns that might’ve been hovering in her mind melted away as in this instant, she existed for him, and him alone. Soon she shifted in her place, allowing his probing tongue to find hers and mingle against it as they let their feelings for one another be expressed in a show of utter passion. She could feel his strong hands holding tight unto her form and was glad to have changed into a pair of form-fitting leather leggings before coming.

She could also feel something else pressing against her midriff.

A minute or so passed, and finally their intimate display finally broke, him letting her settle down unto her heels, his head pulling back that he might look down into her eyes again. “I think I win.” He said confidently; playfully as a grin crossed both of their faces.

“Yeah, I guess this time you did.” She said simply, staring up into his eyes.

This little game they played, where they would try to lure the other into making the first move, had harkened back to the first time they’d shown any interest in one another. In that case, he had relented under her sway, though the situation hadn’t necessarily been geared to such a showing of affection in the first place. They’d been working together on an operation, the first time they’d been paired up without anyone else accompanying them. There had been little looks here and there prior but being together then for such a prolonged period of time, a week to be exact, had really put the two of them in a situation where their mutual intrigue mounted. It all culminated the night before their operation was to end, when he’d gone to compliment her on how she’d handled herself, only to lose himself in the moment, leading to the first of many moments of shared love between them.

She’d never before had such an incredible night.

Snapping them back from the brink of their reverie, a buzzer sounded loudly throughout the Arena, alerting them that the courts were emptying so as to allow pre-game festivities to begin. Wrapping her arms around his neck adoringly, Shannon giggled as she refused to abandon the moment, regardless of the start of the impending game. “You Might as well win something, since the Knicks are definitely losing tonight.” She teased, sticking her tongue out playfully while making a mocking face at his expense. It was game-three of the second round of NBA Finals, and her 76ers were already up two-nil over his Knicks. “It’s okay, you can support me and my guys when they advance to the next round.” As he playfully narrowed his eyelids at her, in a faux-glare of annoyance and temerity, she couldn’t help but relent and plant a tender conciliatory tender kiss against his lips.

“...and then we can both cheer for the Heat in the Finals when they kick your guys out of the playoffs in the next round.” His quick counter elicited a similar narrowing of her eyelids, as she afforded him a challenging look until they both erupted into bouts of laughter. Pulling back that he might stand straighter, he shifted so that she effectively hung round his neck, her slight body supported by her hands clasped around him, and his still clutching firmly at her behind. Walking the pair of them out of the lounge area of the luxury suite, he emerged with her at the precipice of the seating area and after they released one another, they descended and took seats to watch the game. Immediately there were cheers from other fans of the game who recognized the two Avengers in their midst, waving and blowing kisses in their direction until finally tip-off arrived, and the focus could shift away.

By halftime, it was pretty clear Shannon’s Sixers were well on the way to securing a three-nil lead in the series, as the Knicks simply couldn’t find a means to keep up. Still, the both of them enjoyed it all the same, Shannon every so often leaning over to plant a smooch on the side of his face or to steal a subtle feel of his incredible body, all while Sam held her close to him. Sure enough, gawkers were constantly paying them attention, especially considering how overt they were with regard to their being intimate together, but they’d agreed from the onset not to hide it from anyone, regardless of whoever it might’ve bothered. Thankfully, most people thought they made a perfectly cute couple, as evidenced by the roar of the crowd when during a commercial break, the ‘Kiss-Cam’ had promptly found and focused in on them, goading Shannon into pulling Sam in for a passionate embrace that elicited the second loudest applause of the night.

132 - 88

An absolutely dominant performance by Shannon’s Sixers, she was beaming brightly from ear-to-ear when the final few seconds of the game ticked off, leading her to raise her arms into the air to cheer the victory, much to the chagrin of the hometown Knicks crowd. Taking heed of a group of nearby Knicks fans who booed her, Sam joined in and cupped his hands around his mouth as he too booed. Laughing and giggling, Shannon egged both Sam and the Knicks fans on for a few moments until he threw his arms around her in a happy embrace, and they headed for the exit to the rear of the luxury suite. Together they descended the stairwell that brought them down into the basement of the arena, where VIPs came and went, and waiting for them was another private car, though this one had been driven by someone other than Josh. Shannon assuming it was the car that had brought Sam to the game ahead of her that evening.

“Makes us even on the night.” She commented as the car turned out of the arena basement and began heading eastbound on west 32nd street. Again, it was a short ride back to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, but it would still take a fair bit of time in the post-game traffic. Nestling against his side as they sat together in the back of the private car, she breathed in deep of his strong scent again, loving the feel of his body being so close. “I’m wondering if maybe we should check into a hotel room instead of heading back to the compound.” Shifting so that she could look into his face, she saw the confusion evident and figured on an explanation. “Well... according to Kate, the sound-proofing in the walls is a bit weak.” Seeing him grin broadly in understanding, she once again nestled against his side. “Gwen was worried. I guess she thinks we’d keep her up with our noise.” A bout of silence followed, until finally the both of them erupted with laughter, and Sam shook his head bashfully.

“Hey Freddie!” he called out to the driver to get his attention. “Change of destination, pal; take us to the Conrad Hotel off Murray street!” Glancing back at Shannon, he shrugged his shoulders. “I got a buddy that works the night desk there, who owes me a favor. I’m sure he can get us a suite with a view of the Hudson, and we can be as loud as we want.”

“I was kidding.” She remarked.

“I wasn’t.” he replied, leaning in again, not really looking to engage in their game at the moment as his scruff-lined lips found hers immediately, her eyelids slipping closed as she submitted to his will, a hand finding a gentle embrace of the periphery of his jaw while she felt herself melting beneath his kiss.

The thought to start the party early, here, and now in the car crossed her mind.

An instant later; up and down had alternated their direction at least a half-dozen times as the car suddenly tumbled at its long axis. When it had come to a halt, seemingly inverted, Shannon groggily pushed herself up from her stomach, as she’d lay next to Sam on the roof. The ringing in her ears had yet to subside as she reached out to touch Sam, who was similarly groaning and dazed after whatever calamity had just occurred. “Sam!” She cried, worried but somewhat relieved when he nodded an affirmation of his status to her. “What happened?” she asked, glancing toward the front of the car where their driver hung from his seat, retained in position by his seatbelt, and unmoving. The windshield was shattered, just as all the other surrounding windows were, and she surmised that were it not for them having been in an up-armored car, they might not have been so fortunate as to survive.

Reaching up to the rear seat as it was above him, Sam pressed a latch and it opened to reveal an emergency armory, his hand immediately retrieving, and checking a submachinegun before he handed it off to Shannon. He then grabbed a second one from the stash and shouldered it before hitting an emergency escape latch that blew the rear driver’s side door off of its hinges, availing the two of them the means to get out of their overturned vehicle. “Keep low!” he instructed behind him, though Shannon had already prepared herself for combat, her instincts and training from years spent in the employ of both the US Army and S.H.I.E.L.D. rearing in the back of her mind. Quietly though, she cursed herself for having worn a pair of high-heeled stilettos, as they made it more difficult to move in this particular scenario.

“Oh my...” Sam’s voice trailed off ahead of Shannon as he emerged from the car, and Shannon felt a sense of terror settle in over what she could only imagine to be something horrific. Yet when she stood beside him, her weapon lowering in her grasp as she stared in terrified awe at what Sam had reacted to, she felt her heart stop.

Where once stood the historic Madison Square Garden, now only lay a fiery smoldering heap of debris.

“...God!” she completed his exclamation.

Pt.1c

May 05, 2025

“The death! The destruction! All of what was wrought upon you tonight, is but a taste of the future you will endure! For we have allowed the desecration of our world to go on, long enough! We will not allow you to replace us! Your cultures, and your mongrel races will burn in our righteous fire! This is but a prelude of what we will bring to the blacks, to the yellows, to muslims and jews, and all who have allowed and continue to allow them to propagate this desecrated world! We will cleanse it with a finality, and it will be reborn anew to the stewardship of us and our descendants. The White Serpent will see this done, and there is nothing you, or your mighty Avengers can do to stop it. We are vigilant!”

A silence permeated the briefing room once the message had ended, the still visage of Charles von Grigori remained; the head of a white supremacist terror group known as ‘The White Serpent’, who had declared war upon the world months ago, and who had now committed the worst single act of terror in American history.

He had once been an American Senator from the state of Indiana; the pride of the Republican party, he’d claimed to want to bring about an era of change within the US Government, inciting anger, and rage in his gullible constituents with his vitriolic rhetoric, and ultimately striking a chord with a surprising amount of them. And though his hate was far less overt in its heinousness then, it was still tinged and tainted with problematic oratory. Yet, his star had ascended so quickly, until it reached its zenith during the Presidential Election of 2020, wherein as the candidate for the Republicans, he’d thankfully lost by one of the largest margins in history, though he had still refused to accept defeat, and instead sought to contest the outcome of the election, even going so far as to stage an attempted insurrection and coup afterward.

An attempt that was ultimately put down.

However, for his part in orchestrating the insurrection, von Grigori had been charged with treason, though he had eluded capture when he fled the country with the support of many of his steadfast followers. In the years since, he had haunted the internet despite being de-platformed almost everywhere, spreading even more of his hateful speech. Yet, for the most part, he’d been regarded as little more than a nuisance; a fugitive that would someday slip-up, and eventually be caught by the authorities which sought him out. Sadly though, he’d now proven himself to be far more dangerous, and thus elicited the full attention of anyone and everyone who could and would do something about him and his fledgling group of terrorists.

“What a prick!” Commented Kate, breaking the silence of the room.

“No doubt a small one.” Quipped Riri Williams not an instant later.

Normally, such a clever retort would’ve elicited a chuckle or two from the gathered bunch, but with the estimated toll of the tragic explosion so prominently displayed on a different monitor, it tuned into the news, no one even grinned. The sadness was just too great to ignore, and no one wanted to appear as though they were taking it lightly.

“That message was released to the internet not five-minutes after the incident at the Garden.” Sam explained, stepping up to stand at the fore of the room. He still bore several cuts that ran across the side of his face, where the shattered glass from the car window had struck him just a day earlier. In his eyes, it was clear he also bore a great weariness, and given what had happened and how helpless he had been to stop it, Shannon understood why. Seeing him like this though, still bothered her immensely as she sat at the briefing table, also wearing the same attire she’d worn during said night’s game, and the subsequent calamity. Neither she, nor Sam had had an opportunity to change ever since, their night and morning having been spent aiding first responders in rescuing people caught in the explosion. They’d only managed something like an hour of sleep after getting back to the compound, though even that short amount of time spent peacefully together had bolstered Shannon’s resolve enough to temporarily alleviate any trepidation she might’ve otherwise felt.

“Rescue efforts are still ongoing down there, but early estimates, as you can see...” Sam motioned to the screen showing the counter of suspected dead “...are already in the five-figure range.” He let the gravity of such a hefty toll settle in for a moment before resuming. “In the meantime, we’re pushing up our efforts to combat von Grigori and his White Serpent to the forefront of our agenda. All other operations are taking a backseat until further notice.” No one seemed to have any problem with that, and Shannon would’ve been surprised had they otherwise. “We’ve recalled everyone, and for the most part, we’re all here now.” Again, he paused to allude to all the gathered Avengers seated at the table, representing a vast majority of the fifteen official and active members currently still on Earth. Sam then cast a look to his right, and another figure stepped forward from the shadow of the corner of the room; it was Pepper Potts.

“We’ve also reached out to some of our off-world team-members, namely Jane Foster, Valkyrie, and Heimdall, who’re now in route back to Earth, and expected to return sometime tomorrow.” Pepper explained. This was news to Shannon, as it was to the others who all perked up in their seats at such a turn of events.

“I can tell by the looks in some of your faces, you’re wondering why we’ve specifically asked them to return.” Casting a glance back to Sam for a second, Pepper then clasped both of her hands in front of her before continuing. Shannon greatly admired Pepper, as did most if not all the Avengers; given all that the woman had been through, and had lost, the fact that she remained in the role of Director spoke to her great fortitude. “So far, forensics hasn’t turned up any leads as to a chemical component that would have caused such an explosion. Between that, and the strange white burst of light that was witnessed by bystanders, as well as on surveillance cameras, it leads us to believe this was some sort of an energetic pulse.”

“Energetic?” chimed Shuri, her Wakandan accent heavily tinging the lone word.

“We think it might’ve been an Asgardian weapon.” Answered Sam.

“I thought that Thor and the old Avengers had accounted for all Asgardian weapons that had been built by Hydra?” seated near the front of the table, She-Hulk, or rather, Jennifer Walters cast a passing glace over all the others. “Weren’t they destroyed just before Ultron came online?” She’d added.

“They were.” Answered another voice from a corner just as it stepped into the light cast by the monitors. War Machine, Shannon immediately recognized him as, though she’d only met James Rhodes in passing once or twice before. He was part of the ‘Reserve Team’ of Avengers, alongside his wife, Hope van Dyne, otherwise known as the Wasp, and the White Wolf, Bucky Barnes. Yet, semi-retired as they were, all three now stood at the periphery of the room, a look of fierce determination evident to each of them. Though, there was something more Shannon picked up on from Bucky’s face, who had cast an almost imperceptibly wayward glance in the direction of Jean-Paul seated across from her at the table. Northstar, like Wiccan and America Chavez had been brought to this Universe in some sort of an accident she’d not fully understood the specifics of, though the concept of the Multiverse could conjure headaches in most people.

Still, they’d earned the trust of the Avengers ever since, and had more than earned their place at the table. Though, it had helped that Clea had vouched for each of them in turn. The Sorceress Supreme, who had similarly emerged from another version of Earth in search of the now lost Steven Strange, had settled in nicely as an Avenger ever since.

“Then how did these assholes get their hands on one?” asked Billy Kaplan.

“That’s what we’re hoping Jane, Valkyrie, or Lord Heimdall can answer for us.” Sam interjected, affording Pepper another nod of acknowledgement, as if to say it was her presentation once more.

“We’ve also been contacted by President Blair, who has offered any and all support for us in our efforts to track down and eliminate The White Serpent.” Shannon could only imagine how personally Sienna Blair would be taking this matter, given how von Grigori had attempted to steal the Presidency from her. Let alone all the disgustingly racist rhetoric he had spouted about her ever since his coup had failed and he’d gone into hiding. “S.H.I.E.L.D. will also be running operations alongside us, in addition to a number of Government Anti-Terror agencies from both the US, and other countries across the globe. We’re being asked to help coordinate and lead this joint venture against von Grigori.” Pausing a moment to motion to another monitor as it shifted to a map of the world, Pepper continued. “We’ll be splitting up into three teams and dispersing those teams accordingly."

“Team One will consist of myself, Clea, Yelena, Jen, and Miles.” Sam interjected once more. “We’ll be hanging around here at the compound. Team Two will be Carol, Shannon, Gwen, Kate, and Kamala. They’re headed to the S.H.I.E.L.D. base just outside of Berlin. And Team Three is Shuri, Riri, America, Jean-Paul, and Billy. They’re going to Tokyo.” On the screen behind Sam, the locations in question were beginning to populate the map. “Rhodey, Hope, and Bucky are going to saddle up aboard The Rogers, which will loiter in airspace near the Gulf of Oman, where they can lend assistance to any of the three teams should it be warranted.” The picture on the monitor changed again, now displaying the Helicarrier numbered sixty-four, it having finally been christened with a name, and Shannon couldn’t have imagined a more appropriate one than that of the long-time leader of the old Avengers.

“When are we leaving?” asked Gwen, her gaze shifting to Miles seated next to her.

“Tonight. Twenty-hundred-hours.” Answered Pepper.

“Any other questions?” Sam asked, and after a moment in which no one piped up. “Alright. Then consider yourselves dismissed. But be careful out there. This guy means serious business, and there’s no love lost for us it seems.” He nodded a stern warning to everyone, though they all already understood the gravity of the situation. Still, it was Sam’s job to ensure that they took matters seriously. After all, it was easy for them to fall victim to overconfidence, given their varied unique talents and abilities.

One-by-one, everyone stood and began to disperse from the briefing room, some lingering on after a minute or two that they might discuss the situation. Shannon however, approached Sam near the fore of the briefing room, and detected a weary acknowledgement in his face, aware that their plans for the night previous had been ruined, and that there would be no chance for them to find a moment now either. For while Shannon had been dismissed to go about her business, Sam would be busy right up until the clock struck eight o’clock tonight, the duties of being the lead Avenger demanding it. It felt decidedly unfair to him, and to her for that matter, but Shannon knew better than to complain, given the stakes. Instead, she placed a gently reassuring hand against the middle of his chest and leant in to plant a tenderly soft kiss at his left cheek.

“You, be careful.” She whispered softly into his ear, then stepped away, uncaring if the technically inappropriate moment of affection had been noticed by anyone else. There had been something else she’d considered whispering into his ear, but felt it may have been premature, though she immediately worried she’d regret not having said it.

Shannon left the briefing room, heading for her domicile to finally change clothes.

“Promise us you’ll be careful?” asked a disconnect voice over a speaker, eliciting a broad grin to cross the features of Shannon’s face as she continued to pack a bag with clothing and other various sundries. Shaking her head in amused dismissal, she cast a gaze back to the source of the voice, her phone settled facing up toward the ceiling, an active call still ongoing.

“Shannon. Promise us.” Sherry, her mother added.

“I’m always careful. You know that.” Shannon iterated, sliding shut a dresser drawer as she approached where the phone was resting. “But fine, I promise I’ll be careful.” She continued, knowing that on the other end, at any second, Claire, her other mother would pipe up with a retort and more firmly demand such a promise. She missed the both of them terribly so. It having been almost six-months since she’d last seen the two of them in person; back when she’d managed to escape for a bit during a stayover in San Francisco. “Maybe when this whole thing is over and dealt with, I can come visit you two.” Picking up the phone, she strode over toward the attached bathroom of her domicile, catching her reflection out of the corner of her eyes in the luxurious mirror that ran the whole length of the extended sink counter. It reminded her of just how badly she needed a shower, given the grime which still clung to the periphery of her face. “I can bring Sam, and you can finally get a chance to meet him.” She added, nearing the frosted glass enclosure of the nearby shower stall, her voice echoing due to the hard slate floor and gray-tiled walls.

“That’d be wonderful, sweetie!” chimed Sherry.

“Have you two slept together yet?” interjected Claire a second later.

Caught off-guard by the forwardness of the question, Shannon nearly dropped the phone. “Jeez! Really?” She quickly fired back, feeling a blush come to her pale features, though she grinned in amusement. Of her mothers, Claire had always been the more direct about certain matters, and Sherry the facilitator. Though, Shannon loved them both equally.

“What? It’s a simple question.” Her mother Claire responded. “I mean, I saw the pictures of you two at the Basketball game that TMZ put out. Sex is a natural and healthy thing for a couple, sweetie. And Sam is such a handsome man, I just figured that by now, given how long you two have been together...”

“Mom! Okay, like... seriously!” Shannon erupted, shaking her head.

“Alright! We’ll let you go, sweetie. We’re so very proud of you, and we love you with all our hearts! Be careful and kick some butt!” Her mother Sherry, always one to swoop in and save things whenever it got awkward, if she were there in person, Shannon could’ve hugged for yet another timely interception.

“I love you too!” answered Shannon quickly, her finger about to swipe to hang-up when she heard Claire object to not getting and answer in the background, though thankfully, the call went dead on the other end. Giggling a moment, Shannon could quite perfectly envision the silly argument now erupting between her mothers about the hang-up, and accordingly she felt her heart swell with love and adoration for them. Not only had they given her life, but they had helped raise to be the woman she was today, and she knew she could never truly repay them for that, though she endeavored to do so in every act of her life, wherever she went. She wanted to make them proud of her.

With a sigh however, her attention re-affixed itself to what lay ahead of her; a jaunt across the Atlantic aboard a Quinjet, and then posting up in a stand-by at the S.H.I.E.L.D. base in Berlin, where she and the rest of her teammates would wait for orders to come in. She had a feeling it would be a prolonged bout of boredom, followed by a frantic attempt to dissuade whatever awful and heinous dealings ‘The White Serpent’ had in store. It worried her, but at the same time, she wanted this. The death and destruction wrought at Madison Square Garden had been horrendous, and she’d only just barely survived herself. The subsequent message that that racist piece of shit, Charles von Grigori had released, made it abundantly clear just how dangerous white supremacist groups like his were.

Shannon had despised them before, but now, she did so with vehemence.

Pulling the grimy blue Sixers jersey she’d worn to the game with Sam up over her head, she sighed with a sense of moderate relief as the name on the back, ‘Embiid’, had been one of those confirmed to have survived the explosion. In fact, both of the teams that had played that night, had survived unscathed, as the location of the locker rooms had protected them. Sadly, that hadn’t been the case for many of the fans who’d been in attendance for the game, or for the workers that populated the arena. At last update, the death toll had reached the five-digit range, and it ached her heart to know it. It also reaffirmed the sense of resolve she felt inside about tracking down those responsible.

Slipping off the rest of her clothing, and tossing it into a nearby hamper, she stepped into the shower stall and touched a delicately slender finger against the electronic display. Immediately, a deluge of steamy water descended from the heavens above her, cascading down her form, soothing her from head to toe in a relaxing bliss. A minute or so passed, the spray of the overhead fixture echoing loudly as a cloud of steam began to rise and cling to the frosted glass, and Shannon was lost to the sensation of a cleansing wash that she’d been oblivious to the figure that opened the door to the stall, and who stepped up from behind. Jumping in surprise, her green-eyes darted open an instant later and she spun round, her heartbeat skipping a beat until she saw Sam, a grin on his face as he stared down at her.

“You sneak!” she jabbed a finger against his bare chest, eliciting a grunt and chuckle from the man.

“Ow! That hurt!” He retorted playfully.

“You scared me half to death!” she exclaimed, grinning broadly, and giggling as he closed the door behind himself, prompting her to take a step back, the spray of the shower now enveloping both her and him. She would’ve poked him again, where it not for the strong encompassing embrace of his arms that wrapped around her. Instead, she leant into his body, loving the feel of his soft skin against hers as water washed down over the both of them. “I thought you’d be stuck in planning meetings, or conference calls with the D.O.D. for the next few hours.” She explained, her hands slipped up over his toned abdomen, tracing along the ridges of each muscle, her gaze trailing away to fixate on the center of his chest where she imagined his heart would be underneath.

“Nah. President Blair and Pepper are doing the bulk of the coordination, thankfully.” He explained, his strong right hand finding her petite left hand, and grasping in tenderly as he brought it to his lips to kiss the palm of. “I’m pretty much free from now, up to when we have to hit the Quinjets.”

“Oh?” Shannon quipped, her gaze lifting along with the pate of her face as she locked eyes with him again. Pools of veridian and auburn reflecting back at each other, as inexorably lips drew ever closer until they met. Eyelids fell shut accordingly, and they let the passion and desire they felt for one another coalesce and fuel their ministrations.

Immediately Shannon felt a gentle probing at her lips, and she parted them willingly to allow Sam’s tongue to slip in between, her own tongue reacting to his and wrestling against it as they kissed lustfully. Her free hand ran around to find a firm grasp of his perfect ass, cupping it just as his own found hers and likewise felt it up. Though his grip was decidedly more aggressive, causing her to whimper in surprise, the awareness of how each noise she made in reaction to him only drove him further wild with carnal need. In turn, his kiss turned dominant, almost possessive of her, and she felt her heartrate jump. Already, she could feel his stiffening self, pressing up against her waist, and in the forefront of her mind was an inescapable need to show it the attention it clearly wanted. Moaning into their kiss, she pulled her hand from where it had cupped his butt, slipping it down between their bodies as she pressed her palm against his manhood.

“Baby...” she exclaimed a second later as she managed to break away from his commanding kiss, a freed and pushing him back a bit as she slowly descended down in front of him, her knees finding the marble flooring of the shower stall. Glancing back up at him as he stared down, Shannon felt the heft of Sam’s turgid cock nestle against the left side of her face. The first time she’d bore witness to Sam’s incredible cock, she’d thought it an illusion, as it was just a shade shorter than the length of her forearm, though easily as thick. She’d never imagined a man could be so impressively endowed, at least, not outside of badly drawn cartoons, yet Sam was the real deal. A devious grin came to her as she tilted the pate of her face just enough to allow the heavy cock to drape over her, obscuring the left side of her face.

As water continued to cascade down over his impressively sculpted, adonislike body, Shannon pressed the flat of her tongue against the underside of Sam’s throbbing cock and ran it tenderly up until it found and slither through his slit. Above him, Sam groaned deeply, his hands flexing as she no doubt sent waves of pleasure throughout his body.

She had every intent of prolonging this bout of teasing foreplay, goading Sam on until he couldn’t take it anymore, but before she could even react, he’d reached down to grab her by her shoulders, hefting her back to her feet. Forcefully, he pushed her against the frosted glass wall of the shower stall, his strong hands finding each of her beautifully smooth thighs and lifting her up until she was supported by him entirely. Taking heed of the sudden shift in his needs, Shannon wrapped her arms around his neck for support, while her calves similarly hugged at the back of his thighs. “Sam!” she exclaimed as an almost gasp as she felt the touch of his thick cock against her quivering slit, a tidal wave of sensation erupting in her lithe body as he began to push himself into her with utter and total need.

Gasping deeply as she clung unto him for support, Shannon’s eyes went wide in shock as he didn’t relent, the entirety of his near twelve-inch dick finding its home deep within her, reaching the utmost depths of her body. Racked with intense pleasure, she whimpered loudly in a futile attempt to stave off an orgasm as it struck her.

“Ahh! God! Yes! Fuck me!” she blurted out as her body writhed against him, and Sam began to do just that.

Whimpering with each powerful thrust, Shannon’s body began to tremble rather quickly, her face flushed with passion as her heart beat a mile a minute. All the while, Sam worked his hips back and forth with increasing might, an animal like grunt bellowing out from him as he lost himself in the moment, both of his hands finding her ass so that she couldn’t escape. Not that she wanted to, as she was just as lost, their bodies pressed against one another, her desperate to hang onto him, as her lips found his a second-time. Inadvertently, she felt her back press against the touchscreen controller attached to the shower, causing the fall of water to intensify, though neither of them seemed to particularly care.

Effectively screaming against his lips, Shannon felt the onset of a consecutive orgasm near, then erupt without delay as Sam continued to thrust with purpose. Bucking against him, she arched her back as he pulled back just a bit, her perky though petite breasts exposed to him, he hunched down to press his lips against each of them in turn.

“Nnngh, God!” Shannon exclaimed between raspy breaths, thankful for the reprieve, though it ended an instant later.

Pushing her once more back against the frosted glass wall of the shower, Sam resumed his passionate and carnal fueled movements, his long and thick cock sliding into and out of her tight love canal with each thrust. Shannon held on tight to her man, wanting so very desperately to fulfill his ever manly need, and willing to endure whatever he had to give. She’d not said it earlier in the evening, a regret that had manifested itself immediately in that moment, and as they were together again now, she considered letting it slip. It was what she felt, after all. An all-consuming, and unmistakable notion that she wanted to reveal to him, but again, she hesitated.

“Fuck me! Fuck me! Yes! Fuck me!” she cried instead.

A grunt later, the opportunity had seemingly passed, as Sam began to buck his hips wildly, a look in his straining face which she knew the meaning of. Placing a reassuring hand against his chest as his muscles flexed, she kept her calves wrapped tightly around his back, her wishes expressed without the need of saying so verbally. Sam nodded, and his thrusts somehow grew more intense, his cock somehow feeling like it was reaching a deeper part of her. “Cum for me, baby!” she whispered into his ear, and without any further encouragement necessary, Sam grunted one last time, and pushed the entirety of his long dick into his willing and wanting woman, a flood of warm cum spurting deep into Shannon’s body, the sensation of which sent her similarly wild as another climax caught her off-guard, and she moaned loudly.

Slowly, their bodies halted, still enraptured together, the sounds of flowing water, and their hastened breathing echoing loudly against the walls. Giggling, Shannon broke the stalemate of silence between them, and as he pulled back, she found his broad grinning lips and embraced him in a loving kiss.

Emerging from the shower together, Shannon’s legs wavered ever so slightly as she cast a gaze over her shoulder at the man that had so incredibly just rocked her world. He was likewise grinning broadly, a little chuckle escaping him when she tossed a towel at him that he might dry off.

“I’m glad Pepper let you off the hook for that call with President Blair.” She explained.

“Other way around, actually. I think the President sensed how much I wanted to get a moment to be alone.” He answered, his hands unfolding the towel and wiping down his glistening athletic body, much to her visual delight. Once content, he’d wrapped the white towel around his waist, and stepped toward the exit which led back into Shannon’s domicile.

“Not necessarily alone.” Shannon clarified for him, wrapping a similar towel around torso.

As they both emerged into the living space, Sam plopped down unto the bed in the middle of the room, sighing contentedly before Shannon jumped up next to him, quickly finding a comfortable little nook at the crook of his left arm, her head gently settling down against his deltoid. “You think we were too loud, again?” Sam asked, recalling their conversation from the night before in the private car, wherein Shannon had explained Gwen’s teasing about the sound-proofing in the walls being a bit substandard. As a fit of giggling erupted from her, he let a bout of his own laughter join in concert, an arm wrapping around her shoulder as he held her firmly against him.

“I guess I’ll find out when I see Gwen for the flight to Berlin.” Shannon answered. “Besides. That whole ‘too loud’ streak goes both ways, y’know.” Sensing the confusion from Sam, she grinned cutely before explaining. “You have any idea how many times I’ve heard her, and Miles together?”

Understanding, Sam burst into laughter as he hugged Shannon closer, pulling her in for a kiss.

Companion Guide #1
So, I thought I should take a moment to explain some details about this little fanfic I’m writing, and the alternate universe it exists within. To start, I figure it to be another Earth in the Multiverse, which I’ve randomly numbered as 648. Generally speaking, the events of this Universe are in line with those of the MCU Film/Series timeline, save a few alterations here and there. I’ll attempt to explain each of those in kind, as I go along writing the fanfic, or if someone reading asks a question regarding something specific, in which case I’ll try and answer those as well.

The Year is 2025
Anyway, let’s first start with the year in which this fanfic takes place, being 2025. Given ‘The Snap’ occurred in 2018, and then was undone in 2023, I figure a roughly two-year span was enough to give myself some room to allow the roster of newer Avengers to have come in and joined up. Well, and to have allowed both the Avengers, and S.H.I.E.L.D. some time to have started back up again, since I wanted both organizations to be operational in my fanfic.

The Avengers
Though broken up after the events of ‘Civil War’, they’ve since been re-assembled by 2025, with Pepper Potts acting as Director, and Sam Wilson as Leader.

S.H.I.E.L.D.
Similarly, it had been dissolved, but is back by 2025 in this Universe. Nick Fury though, has retired to a private island somewhere nice, and Maria Hill is now the Acting Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Tower
Formerly the Avengers Tower, and before that Stark Tower, the building now acts as a centralized headquarters for S.H.I.E.L.D. in New York City.

Avengers Compound
Located in upstate New York, the base though destroyed in the battle with Thanos, has since been rebuilt and expanded so as to continue serving as a headquarters for the Avengers.
